Concept: People’s internet bookmarks are a collection of websites which meant something to the owner at some point in time. Some bookmarks are still relevant, but others haven’t been visited for a long time.

Proposal: Taken as a whole, a person’s internet bookmarks can give us a glimpse into who they were, who they are, and who they want to become. I am proposing to analyze people’s internet bookmarks, and create a unique portrait by examining their digital junk drawer.

Request: Please help me prove this concept by donating your unmodified internet bookmarks. There are 5 simple steps to get your bookmarks from your computer to my art studio:

1. Open your internet browser
2. Export your bookmarks to a location on your computer (I’d recommend your desktop). Instructions for Firefox and Internet Explorer.
