Biography
Colleen was born the second of three children in Illinois in 1978. Her family moved to Texas when Colleen was in 2nd grade and continued to move around every few years until her sophomore year in high school. After spending an aimless year at Solano Community College, Colleen joined the army in 1997. During her time in the army Colleen’s interest in art began when she started making small mosaics and collages while stationed in South Korea. After being discharged from the military Colleen enrolled as an studio art major at Minnesota State University. She graduated in 2007 and has been producing art in her small home studio since then.
